Friday, May 18th, was a night to remember. Charles and Jana Fay Bacarisse served as honorary chairpersons for the evening that included a “Silent Auction”, and music by Pete & the Boys Western Band. The Master of Ceremonies, Doug Dawson, provided sparkling repartee particularly when he introduced his former Oilers teammate, Oliver Luck. |
Together they joked and then joined with Judge Caroline Baker in congratulating Aspiring Youth on our current success. The highlight of the evening came when two of the Ammons Scholarship recipients spoke of their gratitude and gave an account of how Aspiring Youth had changed their lives. This event truly provided us with inspiration for the year to come. |
